Curtin University’s Dean of Global Futures Joe Siracusa says Donald Trump is likely to be the next US president and there is “not much” Joe Biden can do about it.

It is six months to the day until Americans head to the polls for the US general election.

“57 per cent of Americans disapprove of Joe Biden,” Mr Siracusa said.

“Donald Trump is ahead of Biden by 17 points in terms of the economy, inflation, law and order and especially immigration.

“Trump has beaten Biden on all accounts.”
